Dr. Lana J Lewis, DDS
Dr. Lana Lewis attended Ferris State University with a major in Biology. She then received her DDS degree from the prestigious University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Dr. Lewis has been practicing in Olivet Michigan since 2007. She enjoys all areas of dentistry with a particular interest in restorative and Pediatric dentistry. Dr. Lewis is a member of the Michigan Dental Association, the American Dental Association, and the Chicago Dental Society.
In her spare time Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 daughters. Dr. Lewis also enjoys watching her daughters compete in their sports: hockey, wrestling, softball and competitive dance. When she is not working or driving the “mom bus” you can find her reading or enjoying wakesurfing and boating.

Heather
Heather graduated in 2004 from Kellogg Community College with her Associates of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene. She has been working as a dental hygienist at Main Street Dental since 2005. Heather’s favorite thing about her job is the people (her patients, boss and coworkers). She especially enjoys the relationships she has established with them.
Heather has been married for over 30 years. She has 3 adult sons and 4 grandchildren. Heather enjoys spending time with her family, crafting, traveling/camping and making sweets and treats. She is also an active member of Newton United Methodist Church.
Barb
Barb joined Main Street Dental January 2022 as Dr. Lewis Dental Assistant, Sterilization Tech, and Lab Assistant, along with cleaning up Dr. Lewis’s messes. Barb enjoys her time working in the small office with Dr. Lewis and her staff. Barb has had the passion for dental work since high school days and has been successful in staying in the dental industry for 20 plus years now.
During her journey with dental, Barb has found offices that had given her the opportunity to learn more about dental work from on the job training. Learning from several different dentist’s gave her the motivation to go on to Ross College and Lansing Community College to receive a certificate for Dental Assisting and Radiograph.
In Barb’s spare time she enjoys spending time with family and her grandkids, walking her Australian Shepherd, Brewster, camping and riding her bicycle.
Shawnae
Shawnae has been with Main Street Dental since 2023. She has brought a wealth of customer service experience to our dental practice. Shawnae has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Butler University.
Shawnae is an active member of Charlotte Assembly of God church where she is a member of the praise and worship team. She is an avid foodie who loves traveling and cruising. Her “famous” hubby and three children keep her busy. After hours you can find her running her oldest son to robotics, Esports, band, youth group or Scouting America. Her middle son is into football and basketball. Her youngest (her daughter) is a competitive dancer, a member of her church’s Jumpstart praise and worship team and several school choirs. She also has the cutest and most spoiled Norwich Terrier, Lillipup, you’ve ever seen.
Penny
Penny has been providing therapy dog services at Main Street Dental for years. She holds certificates from Therapy Dogs International as well as the AKC canine good citizen and basic obedience. Penny’s favorite things to do are play fetch with a tennis ball, dive off a dock, and jump a fence to have a puppy party with the neighbor’s dogs. Penny has the relentless characteristic of her mixed breeds, German Shepherd and Border Collie. Penny hates thunder and fireworks and will do anything to hide from them. She loves Broccoli and Bacon.

Financial
We will be more than happy to submit all insurance forms for you and help you recover the most from your benefits. We will do everything we can to help you afford the treatment you need and want. For patients who require major work, a complete payment plan is designed with an appropriate payment schedule. Forms of payment accepted by the office are check, cash, or any major credit card
Cancellation
If you are unable to keep an appointment, we ask that you kindly provide us with at least 24 hours notice. We ask for this advance notice so that we can offer this appointment to another patient. A fee may be charged if a patient does not show up for an appointment without sufficient notice.
